E. Monico
E. Monico is a Los Angeles–born photographer and writer living in Japan. His work navigates youth culture and displacement, examining how identity is shaped between geographies and within ordinary environments. Through restrained, observational imagery, he documents moments of intimacy, estrangement, and subtle resistance.
His work has appeared internationally in print and digital publications, and he is included in Anarchy³ (Ephemere, 2026), a global black-and-white photography volume.
